About the IDbCG
The Internet Database of Computer Games is the Internet repository of historical information on computer games.

We include only those games which reside upon the computer from which they are run. That is, we do not include games which are solely run via browsers over the internet, or such things as play-by-email. Also, the games included must have been released to the public at some point, by some means. That is, no vaporware.

The game information herein is rich with links to sites which provide more information and downloadable resources for the games. However, we do not include links to cracks, registration/serial numbers, or warez sites. Although there may be valid reasons to want to crack some software, we don't want to aid those doing so for illegal purposes.

We also provide several services for game developers, publishers, and distributors.
